The hotel is located at the shore, offering beautiful sea views from some rooms. There are bus stops nearby and the number 12 bus runs every 10 minutes till late, making it convenient to explore the Torbay area. The hotel is within walking distance from the train station.

The location of the hotel was great, being right next to the beach and sea was amazing, especially since we had our Westie with us. The hotel was also very dog-friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, especially Audrey and Peter who managed to move us to a better room on our second night. The sea views from the hotel were breathtaking, as long as you were lucky enough to get a room that wasn't on the ground or basement floor.
The hotel itself was in desperate need of an update, the decor was dated and tired. Our initial room was small, claustrophobic, and smelled musty, it felt like we were in a basement.

We had an amazing thanksgiving stay at a hotel with breathtaking sea views. The complimentary breakfast and afternoon tea were delicious and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect for relaxing walks and sightseeing attractions within walking distance. Our room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. We loved the peacefulness of the environment and enjoyed watching the sunset from the balcony.
We were disappointed that the hotel did not have a fitness center, as we would have liked to have kept up our exercise routine during our stay. The Wi-Fi was a bit spotty at times, which made it difficult to stay connected.

The location of this hotel is ideal for those who enjoy being right by the sea. Guests can take in the stunning views from the hotel gardens, which provide a nice seating area to relax in. The staff are friendly and welcoming, from the reception ladies to the night porter.
One minor inconvenience is the distance from the harbor, but it is a manageable 20-minute walk if the weather is good.

The hotel was conveniently located near a Tesco Express and within walking distance of the railway station. It offered a breathtaking view of a large bay with a rocky beach, perfect for relaxation. The staff provided excellent service and the breakfast was delicious. Furthermore, the public areas were well-maintained and everywhere was easily accessible.
The room decor appeared dated and could benefit from a modern touch.
